The Trustees of VetRun180 have decided to close the charity.
Vetrun 180 has been running for over 6 years and has help and supported many physically and mentally injured veterans over that time. We have supported veterans through some very difficult times and some very happy times and have travelled thousands of miles off road by 4x4s or skidoos in many countries around the world. VetRun 180 has trained many veterans in first aid at work, lantra off road driving qualifications, mental health at work qualifications and mental health awareness training as well as putting veterans through Frec 3 first aid courses.
Sadly, it has come to an end.
We have donated £20.000 to the veterans foundation. The hand controls from our 4×4’s have been given to Blesma the limbless charity; the camping and cooking equipment, tents snd sleeping bags have gone to the Scouts. Vetrun 180 has donated our polo and t-shirts, coats and baseball hats to Tommy’s Lounge in Huddersfield so that they can be distributed to the local veterans.
The Trustees and I would like to thank everyone who helped this Charity to support so many veterans through their work and donations over the years; without their help it would have not been possible to achieve so much.
